What is an Ultrasonic Welding Head?

发布者:灵科超声波 发布时间:2018/10/15

Ultrasonic welding head is a general term for all transmitting ends. Ultrasonic (horn) is an indispensable part of ultrasonic welding equipment. Its function is to couple the ultrasonic waves generated by the transducer into the object to be processed. Because it is used to transmit ultrasonic waves, the welding head must work in a resonant state. That is to say, its natural resonant frequency is matched with the transducer, and then the amplitude is uniform, and the shape of the end face of the welding head is adapted to the shape of the workpiece to be welded.

Several reasons for cracking of the weld head:

a. If the design is not reasonable, the mold resonance effect will be poor, the sound wave will stay in the mold during the transfer process, and it will consume a certain amount of ultrasonic energy. The performance of the mold is high power, the sound wave is trembling, the continuous end face and the mold are hot, and the broken link screw.

b. The processing process is simple. If the specification is not standardized, the mold stress will change greatly. The result is that the mold is unloaded, the power loss is large and the heat is hot.

c. The internal stress of the mold processed by different processing methods or different production processes is different, and the mold consumption (no-load power) will be different.

d. When testing and testing the mold, first determine whether the frequency of the mold is suitable. The upper test mold determines that the mold power is the smallest, or within the allowable range. After the mold meets the conditions, the test welding is performed, and the welding parameters are adjusted until the weld is near perfect or satisfactory.
